The 9th Annual UC Systemwide Bioengineering Symposium has twelve broad tracks availabale to consider presenting your work. (Complete Schedule as PDF). Please determine the top three tracks in which you would like to present your work.
All presenters must complete an ABSTRACT REGISTRATION prior to abstract submission. This process is the same for both oral and poster presentations. After you register, you will receive your abstract registration number via email.
Oral presentations are limited to 15 minutes. Posters should be limited to 40"x40" format. Push pins will be provided.
After you receive your abstract registration number via email, you may SUBMIT your abstract for review. The provided registration number must match your email for successful submission.
1. Limit the size of the abstract to one page (1" margins on all sides).
2. Use Arial 11-point font. Use super and subscripts and an appropriate equation editor where applicable.
3. Each abstract should have primary title (bold-face) that is simple enough for a lay audience to understand. You may also include a secondary title that is more descriptive.
4. Include authors and affiliations after the title. The first author should be the presenting author.
5. Ensure that the abstract is understandable by a general bioengineering audience.
6. Figures and tables can be included, provided the one-page limit is maintained.
7. All abstracts must be submitted in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format. |
