Dr. Bongsu Jung received the 2009 A. Ward Ford Memorial Research Grant. The award, in the amount of $35,000, was given to him from the A. Ward Ford Research Committee of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. for his research entitled “ICG Containing Nanocapsules for Optical Imaging and Laser Irradiation of Cancerous Cells”. Dr. Jung is currently doing his postdoctoral research with Professor Bahman Anvari.
