Bioengineering graduate students Nehemiah Zewde and Donovan Argueta received a Dissertation Year Program fellowship for one quarter for 2018-2019. Also, Hakeem Omotayo received a Graduate Research Mentorship Program (GRMP) fellowship of two quarters for 2018-2019

Both Nehemiah and Donovan are expected to receive their doctoral degrees in 2019. Nehemiah works under the mentoring of bioengineering Professor Dimitrios Morikis , and Donovan works under the mentorship of Bioengineering Interdepartmental Graduate (BIG) program and Biomedical Sciences Professor Nicholas DiPatrizio. Hakeem works under the mentorship of Bioengineering Interdepartmental Graduate (BIG) program and Biomedical Sciences Professor Byron Ford.
